Senior advocate Manan Kumar Mishra, representing the petitioner, emphasized the necessity for a thorough inquiry, suggesting either a CBI investigation or an inquiry conducted by a former judge of the Supreme Court.

“This writ petition under Article 32 of the Constitution of India aims to prompt the court’s urgent involvement due to serious concerns regarding the integrity, fairness, transparency, and credibility of the JPSC Preliminary Examination. This examination, conducted by the JPSC as per Advertisement No. 01/2026 on April 19, 2026, has raised significant public interest questions,” the petition states.
