PDP Protests Across J&K Mark 7th Anniversary of Article 370 Abrogation

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will hold protests across Jammu and Kashmir on August 5 to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370. PDP president Mehbooba Mufti announced this decision during a meeting with senior party leaders, instructing all party functionaries to mobilize participation in these district-level demonstrations. The party aims to demand the restoration of Article 370 and the release of political prisoners.

“As directed by the PDP president Mehbooba Mufti, every office bearer is required to ensure active involvement in the protests,” the party stated in a release.
